Method:
Step 1. Chop up Carrots, Celery & Onions and set aside, Dice beef if your casserole beef is not pre-cut.
Step 2. Brown 500g Casserole Beef in a pan, or if you have a sear mode/option on your slow cooker you can use that.
Step 3. Add browned diced beef and chopped up veggies into slow cooker bowl.
Step 4. Mix 1 sachet of Gourmet Granny's Beef Casserole Mix with 300ml Water in a jug, then pour over the beef & veggies.
Step 5. Set Slow cooker for 4 hours on high, or 6-8 hours on low. Check and stir halfway.
Step 6. Can be served over your choice of rice, mashed potato or pasta.
Notes:
If you would rather not serve with a side, we also love adding in some cubed potato with the veggies for a filling hearty casserole!
If you don't have a slow cooker or would prefer not to use one, you can also use a casserole dish and cook in the oven. If you use the oven 160 degrees for 2 hours is recommended.
