With Gourmet Granny’s Honey Soy Stir-Fry Sauce doing all the heavy lifting, there’s no need to measure out ingredients or fuss with complicated steps - just marinate, bake and enjoy. Ingredients:
8 chicken drumsticks, skin removed
Gourmet Granny's Honey Soy Stir-Fry Sauce 200g
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
2 green onions, sliced (optional, for garnish)
Steamed rice and mixed vegetables, to serve
Instructions:
Marinate the Chicken:
In a large bowl or resealable plastic bag, combine the chicken drumsticks and Gourmet Granny's Honey Soy Stir-Fry Sauce. Ensure each drumstick is well coated.
Cover the bowl or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for a deeper flavour.
Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F).
Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Lightly brush the rack with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Bake the Drumsticks:
Arrange the marinated drumsticks on the prepared rack, allowing excess marinade to drip off.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and has a sticky, caramelised glaze.
Serve:
Transfer the drumsticks to a serving platter.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions, if desired.
Serve hot alongside steamed rice and mixed vegetables for a complete meal.
For an extra burst of flavour, add a teaspoon of grated fresh ginger to the marinade.
